According to the Department of Transport an Amendment Bill to the Administrative Adjudication of Road Traffic Offences (AARTO) Act is to be tabled before Parliament before the end of the 2011/12 financial year. This was made known by Minister of Transport Sbu Ndebele in a written reply to a parliamentary question. It was also revealed that changes to the Act’s regulations will also be finalised before the end of September 2011.
