On the 21st January 2012 Minister Rob Davies issued Government Gazette number 35013 which served to clarify the date at which the 6 – 10 Year BBBEE targets kick in. In short the minister has decided that the 6 – 10 year targets be implemented to any verification where the financial year under measurement ends any time after the 9th February 2012 – no exceptions allowed!
This essentially means that any company who has a financial year ending February 2012 or after has to use the new targets…More to come…
