CHARLES ISAACS has been appointed Eastern Cape district manager of technology multinational EMC.
“The Eastern Cape is a hotspot for the retail, petrochemical, insurance and automotive industries,” says Isaacs, a former general manager of Business Connexion’s Technology Group in the Western Cape. “My primary objective is to retain EMC’s existing clients and acquire new ones by increasing our presence and creating awareness of our expanded offering. On the global front, EMC has been on a steep growth path for more than a decade. I would like to see our Cape operation equalling the development of our international counterparts.”
Isaacs’s career track record includes 10 years with Sanlam, where he started as a mainframe system programmer, as well as 16 years with Persetel, which subsequently formed part of the Business Connexion Group. He holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Cape Town, as well as two postgraduate diplomas.
