As from the first of December, domestic workers in South Africa will get much needed relief following an announcement by the labour department that the minimum wage for the workers will be adjusted. According to Labour Department, this adjustment is part of an annual binding determination by the Minister in terms of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act.
