Three Government Gazettes dealing with B-BBEE clarity issues have been issued since the amended B-BBEE codes became effective on 01 May 2015.

On 07 May 2015, the DTI issued Government Gazette 38765 which:
Adds additional criteria for Empowering Supplier which is specific to businesses in the service sector “At least 85% of labour costs should be paid to South African employees by service industry entities.”
