1. How long does the liability for a supplier continue, will S61 apply indefinitely. Would this be the warranty period?

There seems to be confusion between liability of a supplier in terms of section 61 and the warranty period. Section 61, referred to as the Strict Liability Clause refers to the liability of suppliers either wholly or in part in the event where consumers suffer harm as a result of consuming unsafe goods, product failure or inadequate instructions or warnings on goods that were supplied. Liability for a supplier will not be raised if the claim for damages was bought more than three years after:
• the death or injury of the consumer;
