EE Sectoral Targets

The Sectoral Targets below are draft targets made available to stakeholders by the Department of Employment and Labour for consultation purposes.

Users to ensure that they regularly check-in on our website for any future updates.

The final Sectoral Targets will be gazetted together with the EE Regulations; until such time, these targets will remain drafts. Despite this, we encourage designated employers to commence with their Section 19 barriers and workforce profile analysis, should their existing EE Plans expire any time soon.

To assist employers in identifying which one of the 18 Sectors they fall in, you may navigate to this page on the Statistics South Africa website for a list of main groups of the Standard Industrial Classifications (SIC) Code.
