As anticipated the Gazette has been released under Gazette No. 38317 and it has determined 1 January 2015 as the date on which the Act, excluding that portion of Section 37(c) inserting subsection 198(4F) in the Labour Relations Act, 1995, shall come into operation.
As we have indicated, the Act provides a number of challenges to business as it spans across the whole Labour Relations Spectrum from Collective Bargaining to Dispute Resolution all the way to the most controversial, Temporary Employment Services.
