What is the AI Compass High Impact Workshop?

The AI Compass High Impact Workshop is an intensive four-week online programme designed to help professionals build practical AI skills they can start using immediately.

Across four live, expert-led sessions, participants develop practical capability in AI fundamentals, professional prompting, AI tools, Microsoft Copilot, process mapping, automation and bot building, with a strong focus on responsible AI use in the South African workplace.

How is the programme structured?

The AI Compass High Impact Workshop takes place across four consecutive Wednesdays in November - December 2026.

Each live online workshop runs from 10:00–13:00 SAST, providing a total of 12 hours of live, expert-led learning and practical application.

 

Rather than separating theory and application into different sessions, the new High Impact format brings them together. Participants move between instruction, demonstrations, practical examples and hands-on application during each workshop.

What will I learn during the four weeks?

The programme progresses from understanding and using AI effectively through to applying it to processes, automation and practical AI solutions.

Week 1: AI Foundations & Professional Prompting
Understand AI and generative AI, how leading tools work, responsible AI use and how to write better prompts for professional tasks.

 

Week 2: AI Tools & Microsoft Copilot
Explore practical AI tools and Microsoft Copilot, with a focus on improving research, communication, documents and everyday productivity.

 

Week 3: Process Mapping & AI Automation
Learn how to identify repetitive and time-consuming work, map processes and identify opportunities for AI and automation.

 

Week 4: Bot Building & Practical AI Implementation
Bring the learning together through bot building, AI workflows and practical implementation, with a focus on applying your new capability after the workshop.
