About The Event

This intensive, comprehensive 2-day accredited Employment Equity Programme is designed to capacitate HR practitioners, Transformation teams, Line Managers, and Union representatives with the knowledge and tools to run a sustainable, compliant, and strategically optimised EE function. The programme integrates the latest legislative amendments, pending updates, and recent case law, guiding delegates to apply them proactively within organisational policies, structures, and Employment Equity Plans.


Aligned to Unit Standard ID 10983 (Participate in the implementation and utilisation of equity-related processes, NQF 4 – 5 Credits), the training builds both procedural and substantive competency. Delegates will learn how to establish and manage EE Committees, align policies with anti-discrimination principles, address equal-pay risks, and coordinate statutory reporting with confidence.

  • Overview of the Employment Equity Act and regulations

  • Establishing, capacitating, and managing an EE Committee

  • Designing, developing, and documenting compliant EE Plans

  • A legal model for testing whether a policy or practice amounts to discrimination

  • Roles and responsibilities of EE Committees

  • Strategies for equitable representation of designated groups

  • Addressing Equal Pay for Work of Equal Value

  • Understanding and implementing sectoral targets

  • Compliance certificates and organisational risk management

  • Alignment of BBBEE, the EE Act, and the Skills Development Act

  • Recent and relevant case law guiding best practice

He has since been involved in facilitating Employment Equity, Diversity, and Disability Awareness for various companies such as Liberty, BMW, Tiger Brands, Glencore, Makro, and Airbus Southern Africa. Lwandile has assisted in initiating human resources programs and projects, by conducting research through various methods and identifying problems; creating solutions, and giving advice to resolve day-to-day HR issues. Lwandile brings an enthusiastic and modern approach to his facilitating and is fluent in English, isiXhosa, and isiZulu.
