About The Event

Every Designated Employer has a statutory duty to submit Employment Equity reports annually via the Department of Employment and Labour’s online portal. According to the brochure (page 1), electronic submissions for this cycle must be completed on or before 15 January 2027. Failure to submit, or failure to provide valid reasons for non-submission, may result in the Director-General applying to the Labour Court to impose a fine—making accuracy, readiness, and early preparation essential.

This workshop provides a clear, step-by-step walkthrough of the EEA2 and EEA4 forms, highlighting the information employers must gather, common errors to avoid, and how to meet the reporting requirements under the Employment Equity Act. Delegates will also learn how to register their organisation on the DEL portal, activate their user accounts, and manage dependencies that influence the completeness and validity of their submissions.

What the session covers

  • Employer registration with the Department of Employment and Labour

  • Activation of user accounts for registered employers

  • Full unpacking of EEA2 reporting requirements

  • Full unpacking of EEA4 reporting requirements

  • Key considerations and dependencies for complete, accurate, and valid submissions

  • Ensuring compliance ahead of potential Director-General audits and enforcement actions

This workshop is ideal for HR teams, EE Managers, Transformation teams, and Compliance Officers responsible for preparing annual Employment Equity submissions. It ensures your organisation remains compliant, audit-ready, and protected from unnecessary penalties.
