About The Event

This practical two-day workshop equips Skills Development Facilitators (SDFs), HR professionals, and training managers with the knowledge and tools to prepare and submit accurate Workplace Skills Plans (WSPs) and Annual Training Reports (ATRs)—ensuring your organisation remains compliant and secures its Mandatory Grant funding.


The session includes live online walkthroughs of the SETA Grants Portal, giving delegates the confidence to complete submissions correctly and on time. You’ll learn how to capture company and employee data, report both planned and actual training (accredited and non-accredited), and align your training strategy with Skills Development Act requirements.


Course Outline:

  • Introduction to the National Qualifications Framework (NQF)

  • Core functions of the Skills Development Facilitator (SDF)

  • Step-by-step online submission process for WSP/ATR:Registration of SDF
    Capturing company and employee information
    Submitting PIVOTAL and non-accredited training (planned and actual)


Delegates should bring:

  • All training records for the previous year

  • SDL number and SETA portal login details

  • Details of planned training for the coming year

  • Company and employee information


By the end of this course, delegates will be able to complete their Mandatory Grant application confidently and build a robust, data-driven training and development plan.

He has since been involved in facilitating Employment Equity, Diversity, and Disability Awareness for various companies such as Liberty, BMW, Tiger Brands, Glencore, Makro, and Airbus Southern Africa. Lwandile has assisted in initiating human resources programs and projects, by conducting research through various methods and identifying problems; creating solutions, and giving advice to resolve day-to-day HR issues. Lwandile brings an enthusiastic and modern approach to his facilitating and is fluent in English, isiXhosa, and isiZulu.
