This course is designed to equip managers with essential financial knowledge and skills. This module covers key concepts such as financial management, the accounting cycle, and the interpretation of financial statements. Participants will learn about the scope of financial management, including the planning and controlling of financial resources, and the importance of liquidity and solvency.

The course delves into financial forecasting, budgeting, and the preparation of financial statements like the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement. It also addresses the principles of financial decision-making, emphasizing the goal of increasing shareholder wealth while maintaining corporate social responsibility.

Additionally, the module explores various financial disciplines, including financial accounting, cost accounting, and the impact of economic and policy decisions on financial management. Practical tools such as ratio analysis, trend analysis, and financial forecasting methods are introduced to help managers make informed decisions.
