About The Event
The purpose of this skills programme is to prepare a learner to plan for, conduct, and administer an assessment of learner competence in an occupational context.
Assessment skills in practice are the basis of many other qualifications and skill sets and are a skill that leads to employability. This skills programme will equip people to be able to supervise the performance and provide feedback in a professional manner. Assessment Practitioner status can lead to self-employment opportunities.
This skills programme is for people with an interest in using assessment tools to promote learning.
Knowledge Modules:
• Assessment principles and practices
Practical Modules:
• Plan and conduct the assessment of learner competencies
Workplace Module:
• Conduct assessments of learner competence
Compulsory FISA:
• (Final Integrated Supervised Assessment) The FISA is conducted through the Skills Development Provider. The FISA is a final written assessment integrating the relevant exit-level outcomes.
