John Botha is a highly regarded leader in workforce solutions, labour law, and strategic business transformation. As Joint CEO of Global Business Solutions and an Employment Equity Commissioner, he brings decades of experience and has shaped South Africa's labour and employment landscape through his roles on the Employment Equity Commission and Essential Services Commission.

 

A former Group Executive Director of South Africa's largest JSE-listed workforce solutions company at just 31, John has represented South Africa at the International Labour Organisation and led key labour law negotiations at NEDLAC. His academic credentials include a BCom Honours, a Postgraduate Diploma in Labour Law, and executive training from Columbia Business School and MIT.

Robert Pearse

Rob is Sales and Business Development Director for Connemara Consulting and the NeuroLeadership Institute South Africa (NLI). Connemara elevates business performance through people development. NLI is a global research-driven leadership institute based out of New York City. NLI works with 40% of the Fortune 100, more than 60% of the top JSE listed entities, and is purpose-driven by making organisations more human using science.


He has been in management consulting for over 16 years and worked globally in the Mining, Retail, Pharmacare, Manufacturing, and the Financial Services industries. His consulting career began in the operational improvement space, where he qualified as a six sigma black belt and supported organisation's in reengineering their processes and systems. His interest and role then evolved into supporting people to adopt new behaviours and habits to make the process and system changes sustainable.
