About The Event
The B-BBEE Bootcamp is a practical, insight-rich programme designed to help organisations understand, implement, and optimise their Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment strategy. Delegates will gain clarity on the Codes of Good Practice, key legislative frameworks, and the scoring methodology used to evaluate transformation performance in terms of ownership, management, skills, procurement, enterprise development, and socio-economic initiatives.
The workshop breaks down how the various scorecard elements interlink and gives you the tools to translate your organisation’s existing practices into measurable B-BBEE points. You’ll also learn how to prepare for verification with confidence, avoid common pitfalls, and ensure that your initiatives stand up to auditor scrutiny. Recent amendments to Skills Development (including bursaries, unemployed candidates, and absorption) and Preferential Procurement (particularly the role of 51% Black-owned suppliers) are unpacked with real examples.
